Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program (FMLFPP) Applicant Webinar

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced the availability of $27 million in grants to strengthen market opportunities for local and regional food producers and businesses through the Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program.

AMS will host a webinar to help farmers, producer’s groups and other potential applicants to understand the program requirements.

The presentation will provide an overview of the program objectives, eligibility, and basic information about the application process.

Speaker: Dewell D. Paez-Delgado

Mr. Paez- Delgado is a Grants Management Specialist Team Lead at the Agricultural Marketing Service(AMS)/ Transportation and Marketing Program. He comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture(USDA)-National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). Mr. Paez-Delgado has over eight years of experience providing programmatic leadership and oversight to competitive and non-competitive environmental science programs. In this role, he provided guidance and assistance in the coordination of program objectives, policies, development of program solicitations and monitoring of grantee performance.
