There was a light crowd on hand today due to more winter weather in the area with many cancelations of bigger strings due to washed out and muddy roads. Demand was moderate for calve. Majority of the harvest cows going to feed. Offerings today included 20 percent steers, 74 percent heifers and the remainder being bull calves with 75 percent today being slaughter cows and bulls. Crawford’s next sale will be a back to grass special April 12.
