Feeder Cattle Weighted Average-Slaughter Cow and Bull Report for 02/03/10

Receipts:  3300    Last Week:  4850    Year Ago:  3550

 Compared to last week, steers and heifers trended mostly steady to
firm. Demand and trade activity was moderate to good. Slaughter cows
trended steady to mostly 5.00 higher. Total feeder receipts consisted
of 67 percent steers and 33 percent heifers, with 71 percent of the
total offerings weighing over 600 pounds. Entire supply consisted of
92 percent feeders and 8 percent slaughter cows and bulls.
