Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/18/09 Receipts: 2700 Last Week: 2400 Year Ago: 3900 Compared with last week, the bulk of the steers and heifers trended fully steady to firm with instances of 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Demand and trade activity was moderate to very good. Offerings were comprised very good quality yearlings, weaned and non weaned calves with narrow spreads in most all classes. Receipts consisted of 46 percent steers and 54 percent heifers, with 51 percent of the total offerings weighing over 600 pounds.
