Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 08/07/2008

   Compared to last week; feeders over 750 pounds trended
fully steady, with up to a 2.00 advance on 900 weight steers.
No previous test for weights under 750, but demand proved to
be quite strong.  Cattle quality was good with both yearlings
and fall calves in the offering.  Receipts consisted of 48
percent steers and 52 percent hieifers, 85 percent over 600
pounds.  The next sale is Thursday, August 21.
