Due to Texas Department of Agriculture and Texas Livestock Market News Program 
budget cuts the following report will now be compiled and released by the USDA 
Livestock Market News in Amarillo.

Texas High Plains cash grain markets closed mostly 3 to 10 cents lower on grain 
sorghum, 1 cents to 18 cents lower on wheat, and mostly 2 to 10 cents lower on 
corn.  The front month of the futures was 4.75 lower on corn and was 15.5 cents 
lower on KW wheat.  

Long liquidation from noncommercial entities and fears of a deepening recession 
continue to force grains into losses.  Basis changes and adjustments added to 
the disparity of the changing prices.	

Prices paid or bid to producers delivered to country elevators as of 3:00 p.m.
Grain sorghum quoted per hundredweight; wheat, corn and soybeans per bushel.
