This is due to consolidation in the industry and the increased use of non-disclosure contracts. Effective September 1, the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will begin collecting prices on farmers'stock peanuts and report that information by type of peanut, with weekly reports being issued starting October 13, 2006.
