Slaughter Cattle Mid-Session and Close for 07/27/2015  

Receipts:  200 

   Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 lower.  Special 
Bred cow sale followed with near ninety head of cows on hand.  The bulk of the 
cows consisted of mostly black Angus Cross.  Slaughter steers and heifers were 
not tested.

heiferettes (mostly black) 920-1215 lbs 95.00-110.00.

   Bred Heifers:  Medium and Large 1 Indiv 1175 lbs 2nd stage 2150.00. 

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  4-5 year olds 1000-1255 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 
2300.00-2400.00, 1st stage 2150.00-2250.00; 5-7 year olds 1200-1500 lbs 2nd-3rd 
stage 2000.00-2650.00, few 1700.00-1950.00, pkg 1st stage 6 yrs olds 2000.00; 
short and solid mouthed 1165-1495 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 1700.00-1900.00, pkg 1155 lbs 
1st stage 1675.00; pkg broken mouthed 1365 lbs 3rd stage 1575.00.  

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 7 yrs old short solid mouthed 1100 
lbs w/75 lb calf 2100.00.
