Daily National Grain Market Summary

   July corn closed with modest gains while December corn had solid gains as 
there remains uncertainty of how many acres will actually be planted.  Soybeans 
had slight to modest gains as wet conditions throughout the Midwest continues to 
hold up planting with 85 percent of the soybean crop planted.  Wheat closed with 
modest gains with USDA reporting that 11 percent of the winter wheat crop was 
harvested and 43 percent rated poor to very poor.  Wheat closed 5-9 cents 
higher.  Corn traded mostly 5-6 cents higher.  Soybeans closed mostly 3-6 cents 
higher.
