Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review 
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.

   Feedstuff prices were unchanged to mostly higher on the week.  Soybean 
Meal and corn gluten were higher on a higher soybean and corn market as rain has 
moved across the Midwest this week slowing a delayed harvest.  Some ingredients 
finding support from tight supplies as end users gear up for the cold season.

   Soybean meal, 48 percent was 25.50 higher from 331.70-338.70 per ton.  
Soybean hulls were steady to 3.00higher from 92.00-95.00 per ton.  Soybean Hull 
Pellets were steady to 3.00 higher from 92.00-100.00 per ton.  41 percent 
Cottonseed Meal was 5.00-10.00 higher at 290.00-295.00 per tonn.  Gluten feed 
pellets were 5.00-7.00 higher from 125.00-130.00 per ton.  60 percent Gluten 
Meal was unchanged from 620.00-640.00 per ton. Kansas Interior Millfeeds, 
Rail was 12.00 higher from 127.00-132.00; Trucks were 12.00 higher from 142.00-
147.00 per ton.  Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) truck was steady to 5.00 higher 
from 100.00-115.00 per ton; rail was steady to 5.00 higher from 95.00-110.00 
ton.  Meat and Bone Meal was 30.00 higher at 320.00 per ton.  Feather Meal was 
steady at 575.00-615.00 per ton.  Yellow Grease was 1.00-1.50 higher per cwt.  
Alfalfa Meal was steady at 204.00-214.00 per ton; Sun-Cured 15 percent pellets 
were unchanged at 168.00-185.00 per ton; Alfalfa Center of NE pellets, 17 
percent were steady at 175.00-185.00 per ton; Meal without oil was steady at 
179.00-189.00 per ton; Hay prices were not available.
