Most of the weakness was on the plain and fleshy offerings. Receipts were very light with lots of singles and pairs offered to sell. Last week's disease scare and lower fat market took some of the wind out of the orders. However the disease scare in Kansas proved to be false and reported prematurley before all the facts were gathered. steers made up approximately 63 percent of the run. Holstein steers 16 percent and heifers 21 percent. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 70 percent.
