Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/17/2009

Compared to last week, feeder calves were too few in any weight 
category to make a test.  Yearling steers and heifers were steady 
to firm, with a few load lots of higher quality yearling steers 
offered.  Demand was moderate to good, but dryer field conditions had
many in the fields harvesting their crops.  The receipts included 65 
percent steers and 35 percent heifers.  Cattle weighing over 600 
lbs was 74 percent.
