Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 04/24/2013
 
Receipts:  2670    Last Week:  0    Year Ago:  0

    Compared to two weeks ago feeder steers were unevenly steady. 
Feeder heifers were unevenly steady with lower undertones. Moderate
demand for today’s offering. Receipts were 48 percent steers and
52 percent heifers. 81 percent of today’s offering were over 600 lbs.
Next week will be a special replacement heifer sale with 700 already
consigned as well as a Holstein special. This will be the last
market report until the fall yearling/calf run.
