Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/06/2009

Large run of feeder cattle today with many good offerings.  
Compared to last week's lighter run feeder steers weighing between 
400-600 lbs sold mostly 1.00-3.00 higher.  Feeder heifers weighing 
between 400-550 sold mostly 3.00-4.00 higher, with no comparison on 
other classes of cattle.  Buyer attendance good with good demand and 
active trade.  Today's supply consisted of approximately 62 percent 
steers; 38 percent heifers; 10 percent weighing over 600 lbs.  Feeder
sale next Friday Nov. 13th.  Weigh up cattle sale Sat. Nov. 7th at 
10am.
