Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/17/2013
 
Receipts:  220    Last Week:  700    Last Year:  325  
 
   Not enough recent comparable sales of feeder steers or heifers for an 
adequate market trend.  Trade activity was light on light to moderate demand.  
Buyers remain busy purchasing cattle out of local auction barns this week.  
Supply consisted of 100 percent steers and 100 percent weighed over 600 lbs.  
All sales FOB North and South Dakota with a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and 
a 4-5 cent slide on yearlings and a 5-10 cent slide on calves from base 
weights.

   Steers: Medim and Large 1 Current FOB Price  850 lbs 125.00.
