Compared to last week’s larger supply slaughter steers and heifers 
steady.  Holstein steers 1.00 lower on a light test.  Several drafts
went to the country for future contracts.  Slaughter cows 1.00 to 
4.00 lower with Lean cows showing the larger decline.  Slaughter 
bulls scarce.  Buyer attendance moderate with moderate to good demand. 
       
   Slaughter Steers:  Choice 2-3 1140-1490 lbs 79.00-81.50.  Choice 
2-4 load 1481 lbs 79.25.  Choice 3-4 1510-1598 lbs 77.50-78.60.
Returning to the Country for contracts 1155-1335 lbs 79.00-81.10.
Select and Choice 2-3 pkg 1370 lbs 79.00.  Choice 2-3 Holsteins
1375-1580 lbs 69.75-71.25.  Select and Choice 2-3 1385-1455 lbs
