   Compared to last week: Slaughter Holstein Steers no
comparison due to short supply last week but higher undertone
noted. Slaughter cows mostly 1.00-2.00 higher on good demand.
Slaughter cattle supplies consisted of 73 steers and heifers,
217 cows, 7 bulls, and 4 feeders. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1450-1600 lbs 110.00-
112.00. Choice 2-3 1550-1650 lbs 106.25-109.50. Select 1-3 1400-1650 lbs

   Calves: Compared to last Tuesday's sale, Holstein Bull calves sold
steady to 10.00 higher on good demand. Heifer calves sold firm on
moderate demand. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program
graded 364 head for Tuesday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves:  Number 1  122 lbs 147.00; 103-113 lbs
172.00-177.00; 90-95 lbs 150.00-157.00. Number 2  114 lbs 166.00; 95-113
lbs 180.00-185.00; 85-90 lbs 137.00-165.00. Number 3 94-109 lbs 132.00-
137.00; 80-84 lbs 87.00-112.00; 73 lbs 70.00. Utility 85-106 lbs 78.00-
80.00; 60-72 lbs 50.00-65.00.

   Graded Holstein Heifers: Number 1  113 lbs 135.00; 92-103 lbs
