Arizona/California/Nevada Direct Feeder Cattle Review


Confirmed: 7450


   Trade moderate.  Feeder steers and heifers firm to 1.00 higher.  Good  
interest and inquiry.  Most activity before futures decline.  Cattle over  
600 lbs 12 percent with 16 percent heifers.

   
Unless otherwise stated, prices fob shipping point with 2-3 percent
shrink or equivalent with 5-10 cent slide on calves, 3-6 cent slide on
yearlings from base weight.   Delivered prices include freight, commissions 
and other expenses.

Medium and Large 1-2 565-665 lbs 88.00-92.25, ct; 600-775 lbs 80.00-
88.00, ct-May; 800 lbs 75.75, Apr-May.


Medium and Large 2-3 275 lb Holsteins 100.00-110.00, ct-May; 105.00-110.00,
Jun-Jul. 300 lbs 98.00-102.00, ct.
