According to the Federal- State Livestock Market News Service: compared to one week earlier, slaughter cows and bulls 1.00 to 3.00 higher, feeder steers and heifers steady to 3.00 higher, replacement cows mostly steady. Slaughter cows 30 percent, slaughter bulls 3 percent and feeders 67 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 48 percent of the run; heifers 50 percent; replacement cows 2 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 4 percent.
