The market on hens and 16-24 lb. toms is steady for current shipments with less 
discounting being found.  Demand and offerings light to moderate.  Frozen basted 
equivalent offering prices on a national basis for hens 96.00-104.00 cents shipping 
point and 16-24 lb. toms 96.00-104.00 cents shipping point for current deliveries.  
Trading light on frozen basted equivalent hens and consumer sized toms 97 cents 
shipping point for current deliveries and heavy on frozen basted equivalent hens and 
toms at 105 cents shipping point for September shipments.

The white meat market is steady with steady to weak undertones with fresh tom breast 
meat steadiest.  Demand light to moderate.  Offerings moderate to heavy with frozen 
white meat held with the least confidence.  The market on tom bulk parts is steady 
with steady to instances weak undertones with tom wings softest.  Demand light to 
moderate.  Offerings light to moderately heavy, mostly moderate.  The market on 4-8 
lb. bone-in breasts is steady for current shipments.  The institutional sized rib 
breast market is steady to weak, mostly steady.  Demand and offerings light to 
moderate.  The thigh meat market is steady.  Demand light to good, mostly moderate.  
Offerings light to moderate.  The mechanically separated turkey market is steady.  
Demand light.  Offerings mostly moderate.  Trading light.  


EXPORT MARKET HIGHLIGHTS

Trading moderate with activity reported on frozen basted equivalent bagged hens at 
103-103.50 cents shipping point, frozen tom breast meat and tom necks.  The market is 
steady to weak on tom wings and attempting to find a floor at current price levels.   
Frozen tom breast meat is weak in response to trading at lower prices.  The market on 
the balance of items is mostly steady with some starting to hold supplies of tom 
drums with more confidence.  Demand generally light to moderate with inquiry found 
from Asia, Mexico and the other destinations.  Offerings of tom bulk parts mixed with 
tom wings and necks held with the least amount of confidence; balance of items light 
to mostly moderate.
