USDA CARLOT VEAL CARCASS REPORT Northeast and North Central Basis

Compared to last week:  The special fed veal carcass market was steady.
Trade was light to moderate with moderate demand and offerings. Harvest
numbers were 1% lower compared to last week. Dressed weights were down
3.3 pounds in the Northeast, down 4.4 pounds in the North Central,
with the composite weight down 4.2 pounds compared to last week.

 Represents calves harvested Thursday through Saturday of last week.
VEAL CARCASS, SPECIAL FED, HOT BASIS-PAID TO PRODUCER - FOB BASIS
 Includes previously committed contract and open market calves.
