USDA CARLOT VEAL CARCASS REPORT Northeast and North Central Basis

Compared to last week:  The special fed veal carcass market was mostly
steady on moderate demand and offerings.  Harvest numbers were nearly
unchanged compared to last week. Dressed weights were down 2.8 pounds in
the Northeast, up 1.1 pounds in the North Central, with the composite
down 0.6 pounds compared to last week.

 Represents calves harvested Thursday through Saturday of last week.
