USDA CARLOT VEAL CARCASS REPORT Northeast and North Central Basis

Compared to last week:  The special fed veal carcass market is mostly
steady. Demand good on moderate offerings. Harvest numbers were nearly
4% higher compared to last week. Dressed weights were up 6.2 pounds
in the Northeast, down 2.4 pound in the North Central, with the
composite up 1.8 pounds compared to last week.

 Represents calves harvested Thursday through Saturday of last week.

 Includes previously committed contract and open market calves.
