Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, February 07, 2012
**All prices are quoted per ton, unless otherwise noted.**

   Feed ingredient prices were mostly higher.  The warmer than normal winter 
continued to hamper demand for feed ingredients.

Oilseeds: 
  The March Soybean Meal futures closed 6.10 higher at 325.40; May closed 5.70 
higher at 327.00. The March Soybean Oil futures closed 130 points higher at 
52.17 cents per pound; May closed 126 points higher at 52.57 cents per pound. 
The high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 4.10 to 8.10 higher from 293.40-
302.40; the basis was 2.00 lower to 2.00 higher from 32.00-23.00 under the March 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 10.00 lower from 185.00-
205.00 in North Dakota-Minnesota areas. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct 
protein was 10.00 to 20.00 lower from 195.00-215.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 130 points higher from 50.92-51.67 
cents per pound; the basis was steady from 50-125 points under the March 
futures.
 
Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 290.00-300.00 for 
ruminant; Pork was 320.00. Yellow Grease was 100 to 350 points higher from 
36.50-40.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 225 to 300 points higher 
from 44.75-45.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 10.00 to 25.00 higher at 
535.00.

Millfeeds:   
   Wheat Middlings were 4.00 to 5.00 higher from 122.00-130.00.  The Sacked Bran 
was steady at 12.75 cwt.
