Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, November 17, 2009

    Feed ingredient prices were mostly steady to firm.

Oilseeds: 
  The Dec Soybean Meal futures closed 20.50 higher at 308.70; Jan closed 20.70 
higher at 301.70. The Dec Soybean Oil futures closed 225 points higher at 39.81 
cents per pound; Jan closed 226 points higher at 40.24 cents per pound.  The 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 16.50 to 17.50 higher from 317.70-
320.70; the basis was 3.00 to 4.00 lower from 9.00-12.00 over the Dec futures. 
Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 210.00-220.00 in North Dakota-
Minnesota areas. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 
higher from 185.00-200.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 225 points higher from 37.06-38.31 cents per pound; the basis was 
steady from 150-275 points under the Dec futures.

Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 15.00 higher from 285.00-
310.00 for ruminant; pork ranged 325.00-400.00.  Yellow Grease was steady to 125 
points higher from 20.00-22.75 cents per pound.  Choice White Grease was steady 
to 325 points higher from 23.50-27.75 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady 
to 60.00 lower from 510.00-575.00. 

Millfeeds:   
   Wheat Middlings were 5.00 to 11.00 higher from 115.00-126.00. The Sacked Bran 
was 5.00 higher at 240.00.

Others:
   Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, 17 pct protein had no quote.
