Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 21, 2013
**All prices are quoted per ton, unless otherwise noted.**

   Feed ingredient prices were mixed this past week.  The warmer weather across 
much of the U.S. had more cattle put out on pasture.  Significant rain fall 
across the state occurred this past week.

Oilseeds: 
  The July Soybean Meal futures closed 26.90 higher at 438.70; August closed 
18.10 higher at 406.70. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 28 points lower at 
49.48 cents per pound; August closed 23 points lower at 49.28 cents per pound. 
The high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 11.90 to 16.90 higher at 458.70; 
the basis was 10.00 to 15.00 lower at 20.00 over the July futures. Linseed Meal, 
34 pct protein was steady to 10.00 higher from 325.00-345.00 in North Dakota-
Minnesota areas. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 
higher at 215.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil in Minnesota 
was 28 points lower at 50.48 cents per pound; the basis was steady at 100 points 
over the July futures.
 
Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 lower from 390.00-410.00 for 
ruminant; Pork ranged 450.00-485.00. Yellow Grease was 25 to 50 points higher 
from 36.50-38.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 75 to 225 points 
higher from 41.50-43.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 10.00 to 25.00 lower 
from 600.00-625.00.  Blood Meal was steady to 10.00 higher from 1010.00-1035.00 
for ruminant and pork was 1075.00-1085.00.

Millfeeds:   
   Wheat Middlings were 7.00 higher from 165.00-182.00.  The Sacked Bran was 
1.00 higher at 17.00 cwt.
