Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, November 24, 2009

    Feed ingredient prices were mostly higher for the week.

Oilseeds: 
  The Dec Soybean Meal futures closed 6.70 higher at 315.40; Jan closed 7.90 
higher at 309.60. The Dec Soybean Oil futures closed 11 points lower at 39.70 
cents per pound; Jan closed 13 points lower at 40.11 cents per pound.  The high 
protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 1.70 to 2.70 higher from 319.40-323.40; 
the basis was 4.00 to 5.00 lower from 4.00-8.00 over the Dec futures. Linseed 
Meal, 34 pct protein was 25.00 higher from 235.00-245.00 in North Dakota-
Minnesota areas. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 
10.00 higher from 185.00-200.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil 
in Minnesota was 11 to 36 points lower from 36.95-37.95 cents per pound; the 
basis was steady to 25 lower from 175-275 points under the Dec futures.

Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 15.00 to 25.00 higher from 300.00-
335.00 for ruminant; pork ranged 410.00-420.00.  Yellow Grease was steady to 100 
points higher from 21.00-23.75 cents per pound.  Choice White Grease was 75 to 
250 points higher from 26.00-28.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 10.00 to 
65.00 lower from 500.00-510.00. 

Millfeeds:   
   Wheat Middlings were steady to 3.00 higher from 118.00-126.00. The Sacked 
Bran was steady at 240.00.

Others:
   Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, 17 pct protein had no quote.
