Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, February 09, 2010

    Feed ingredient prices were mixed this past week.  Demand was good to 
moderate for most ingredients.

Oilseeds: 
  The Mar Soybean Meal futures closed 3.00 lower at 270.60; May closed 3.70 
lower at 264.20. The Mar Soybean Oil futures closed 91 points higher at 38.38 
cents per pound; May closed 94 points higher at 38.87 cents per pound.  The high 
protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 3.00 to 5.00 lower from 275.60-276.60; 
the basis was steady to 2.00 lower from 5.00-6.00 over the Mar futures. Linseed 
Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 200.00-250.00 in North Dakota-Minnesota 
areas. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 to 10.00 lower from 
160.00-175.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 
141 to 166 points higher from 34.38-35.88 cents per pound; the basis was 50 to 
75 points lower from 250-400 points under the Mar futures.

Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 15.00 to 20.00 lower from 285.00-
305.00 for ruminant; pork ranged 340.00-345.00.  Yellow Grease was 25 to 100 
points lower from 23.50-24.50 cents per pound.  Choice White Grease was steady 
to 50 points lower from 25.50-27.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 
10.00 lower from 520.00-540.00. 

Millfeeds:   
   Wheat Middlings were 6.00 to 10.00 lower from 82.00-90.00. The Sacked Bran 
was 12.00 cwt.

Others:
   Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, 17 pct protein had no quote.
