MS_GR115 Minneapolis, MN Thu Feb 04, 2010 USDA Market News Minneapolis Weekly Grain Summary Prices for the week ending Thursday, February 04, 2010 **The prices for spring wheat on the spot rail market are now quoted delivered Chicago/Beyond.** There milling wheat market was mixed this past week. Supplies continued to be seasonally light as the winter weather hindered movement during portions of the week. **Spring Wheat: Prices are for US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat with less than 2.0 pct Vomitoxin. The low 14 pct protein wheat was mixed, 26.75 cents lower to 3.25 cents higher from 7.1175-7.5175, the basis was mixed, 20 cents lower to 10 cents higher from 210-250 cents over the Mar futures delivered Chicago/Beyond. The 14.5's was mixed, 31.75 cents lower to 23.25 cents higher from 7.5175- 8.2675, the basis was mixed 25 cents lower to 30 cents higher from 250N-325N cents over the Mar futures delivered Chicago/Beyond. The 12 pct protein Hard Red Winter Wheat had no quote on the spot market. The 20 day to-arrive truck delivery into Minneapolis was 3.25 cents higher at 4.8475, with the basis steady at 17 cents under the Mar futures. Durum: Choice and Balance Milling Durum had no quote. Both Minneapolis and Duluth terminal durum continued to have no quote. Rye: US 1 Rye had no quote on the spot market. The to-arrive Rye was steady with a bid of 4.75. Barley: Robust Malting Barley 60 pct or better plump max. 2.0 ppm vomitoxin had no quote. The to-arrive bid for 1.0 ppm vomitoxin rail delivered to Minneapolis had no quote. Feed Barley delivered into Duluth closed the week with no bid. Feed Barley delivered into Minneapolis was 5 cents lower with a bid of 2.35. Corn: US 2 Yellow Corn was 4.75 cents lower at 3.0900, the basis was 3 cents higher at 45 cents under the Mar futures. The to-arrive bids for corn are: River Open at 3.3525, May at 3.3925, June at 3.4450 and July at 3.4750. Oats: US 2 or better Oats had no quote on the spot market. The To-arrive Bids for oats was 4.25 cents lower at 2.2875; the basis was steady at option (+0) over the March futures. Soybeans: US 1 Yellow Soybeans had no bid for current delivery. The to- arrive bids for soybeans are: River Open at 8.8975, May at 8.9175, June at 8.9750 and July at 8.9750. Sunflowers: The NuSun Sunflowers in Enderlin was 13.45; Fargo was 25 cents higher at 13.45.
