Northwest Weighted Average Direct Feeder Cattle Weekly Summary WA-OR-ID 

Receipts:  4300    Last Week:  10100    Year Ago:  3150

   Compared to last week, Feeder cattle steady to 4.00 higher. Trade moderate to 
active with good demand especially for contracting of summer yearlings. The 
feeder supply included 93 percent steers and 7 percent heifers. Near 98 percent 
of the supply weighed over 600 lbs. Prices are FOB weighing point with a 1-4 
percent shrink or equivalent and with a 5-10 cent slide on calves and a 3-6 cent 
slide on yearlings.
