Trade slow with light to moderate demand for country supplies as most feedlots were participating in the video this week. All contracted calf sales reported this week are being done by eastern interests. NW area feedlots have indicated they have no interest in contracting calves for fall delivery. Rain showers this past week over the trade area was good news for producers. The feeder supply included 56 percent steers and 44 percent heifers. Near 60 percent of the supply weighed over 600 lbs. Prices are FOB weighing point with a 1-4 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 5-10 cent slide on calves and a 3-6 cent slide on yearlings.
