Demand was good for Domestic Alfalfa and Export classes, moderate for Retail/Stable hay on moderate trade activity. Regions 1 through 4 continue to ship in out of state hay at steady prices with previous weeks. Lack of moisture continues to be a major concern among many throughout the regions. Regions 5 and 6 continue to work on current hay. Many producers in region 6 have started to bale a new cutting of clippings, early indication of price remains steady with previous.
