MG_LS150 Montgomery, AL Tue Feb 9, 2010 USDA-AL Dept of Ag Market News Florence, AL Weighted Average Report for 02/08/2010 Receipts: 315 Last Week: 264 Year Ago: 860 Compared to last week: Slaughter cows, bulls, replacement cows and pairs not enough for adequate market test. Feeder steers and bulls 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder heifers mostly steady. Demand on feeders moderate to good. Supply consisted of 4 percent slaughter cows, 2 percent bulls, 2 percent replacement cows and pairs and 92 percent feeder cattle. In the feeder supply 20 percent were steers, 36 percent bulls, and 44 percent heifers. Near 17 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
