MG_LS148 Montgomery, AL Tue May 22, 2013 USDA-AL Dept of Ag Market News Uniontown AL Weighted Average Report for 05/21/2013 Receipts: 444 Last Week: 403 Year Ago: 475 Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower, bulls 3.00-4.00 lower. Feeder classes 3.00-5.00 lower. Replacement cows per head steady with good demand. Supply consisted of 8 percent slaughter cows, 1 percent bulls, 2 percent replacement cows and pairs and 89 percent feeders. The feeder supply included 34 percent steers, 20 percent bulls and 46 percent heifers. Near 38 percent were over 600 lbs.
