CHEDDAR CHEESE:  Butter prices and market conditions in Oceania are generally 
steady with a firm undertone developing.  Traders and handlers indicate that 
sales negotiations for the first half of the upcoming season are basically in 
place.  Most indicate that purchasing patterns are little changed from previous 
years, but traders do indicate that buyers exercised more caution with their 
negotiations.
