Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. *** Sheep and Lambs: A much lighter supply of slaughter lambs and ewes sold 5.00- 10.00 higher with the exception of lambs weighing over 130 lbs which were mostly 10.00 lower. Demand good for lambs weighing less than 100 lbs but light for lambs weighing over 130 lbs. Slaughter supply consisted of 83 percent lambs, 8 percent slaughter ewes, and 9 percent miscellaneous stock. All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.
