Vermont Beef Producers Fall Graded Feeder Cattle Auction
Essex Junction, VT, Saturday May 2, 2009

Receipts:  175

   The Vermont Beef Producers Association held their 18th annual feeder cattle 
sale on Saturday May 2nd, in Essex Junction.  Cattle supply was light, but did 
offer a few small packages of attractive Hereford and black hided steers and 
heifers.  Trade slow, with moderate demand.  Light demand expressed for cross 
bred cattle.  All cattle were pre-vaccinated and weaned prior to the sale.  
Cattle were graded and weighed the day before the sale, and sold by the cwt, on 
their in-weights.
