Maine Beef Producers Fall Graded Feeder Cattle Auction
Richmond, ME Saturday November 1, 2008

Receipts:  165

   The Maine Beef Producers Association held their annual fall feeder cattle 
sale on Saturday November 1st, in Richmond.  All cattle were pre-vaccinated 
and weaned prior to the sale.  Cattle were graded and weighed the day before the 
sale, and sold on their in-weights.

   Feeder Steers:  Large 1: few 800-900 lbs 91.00.  Medium and Large 1:  600-700 
lbs 90.00-101.00; 700-800 lbs 96.00-99.00; 850-1050 lbs 85.00-86.00.  Medium 1: 
few 550-600 lbs 99.00-108.00.  Medium and Large 1-2: 600-700 lbs 99.00-104.00.   
Medium and Large 2:  600-700 lbs 97.00-102.00.  Medium 2:  Herefords 450-500 lbs 
96.00-105.00; 500-600 lbs 94.00-107.00, Herefords 500-600 lbs 82.00-91.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Large 1-2:  850-1050 lbs 71.00-78.00.  Medium and Large 1-2:  
500-700 lbs 95.00-105.00, few 126.00-132.00.  Medium and Large 2:  600-700 lbs 
85.00-99.00, red 600-700 lbs 97.00-102.00, few 114.00; 700-800 lbs 83.00-89.00.    
Medium 2:  400-500 lbs 101.00; 500-600 lbs 102.00-108.00.
