Maine Beef Producers Fall Graded Feeder Cattle Auction
Richmond, ME Friday October 19, 2007

Receipts:  161

   The Maine Beef Producers Association held their annual fall feeder cattle 
sale on Friday October the 19th, in Richmond.  All cattle were pre-vaccinated 
and weaned prior to the sale.  Cattle were graded and weighed the day before the 
sale, and sold on their in-weights.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1 couple blk 450-500 lbs 110.00; blk 500-575 
lbs 100.00-110.00, few 114.00; blk 600-650 lbs 107.00-110.00; blk 650-700 lbs 
107.00.  Medium and Large 1-2 blk 700-750 lbs 87.00, red 94.00; blk and red 800-
900 lbs 84.00-89.00; blk 900-1000 lbs 89.00.  Medium and Large 2 couple blk 350 
lbs 123.00; blk 400-500 lbs 100.00-111.00; blk 500-600 lbs 98.00-104.00; blk 
600-650 lbs 104.00-108.00, couple red 89.00; blk 650-700 lbs 108.00; couple blk 
750-800 lbs 92.00; blk 800-850 lbs 89.00.  Small and Medium 1-2 Herefords couple 
350-400 lbs 101.00; 400-500 lbs 80.00-86.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium 1 fancy red 550-625 lbs 134.00; red 625-675 lbs 
93.00, one 101.00; few red 700-800 lbs 91.00, one 118.00.  Medium and Large 2 
blk 400-475 lbs 96.00-97.00; blk 500-550 lbs 91.00-92.00; couple blk 550-600 lbs 
84.00-88.00.  Small and Medium 2 Herefords 600-650 lbs 75.00-76.00.
