Slaughter Cattle Auction Report for Monday, May 12, 2008.

Cattle Receipts: 191     Feeder Cattle: 54

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cattle sold 1.00 to 1.50 higher.  Holstein 
steers sold steady to .50 higher. Slaughter heifers sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher.  
All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers:  High Choice and Prime 2-3 1195-1530 lbs 90.50-94.00, 
one 97.00. Choice 2-3 1080-1495 lbs 88.75-92.50; 1510-1690 lbs 89.00-92.25.  
High Select and low Choice 1-3 1170-1480 lbs 84.50-89.00.  Select 1-3 1335-1470 
lbs 81.25-86.00.  
 
   Holstein Steers:  High Choice and Prime 2-3 1465-1560 lbs 80.00-84.00. 
Choice 2-3  1325-1635 lbs 75.75-80.75. 

   Slaughter Heifers:  High Choice and Prime 2-3 1120-1230 lbs 90.00-93.25. 
Choice 2-3 1120-1315 lbs 86.25-89.25.  Select and Low Choice 1-3 1095-

   Slaughter Bulls: Yield Grade 1 1365-1735 lbs 65.75-73.75, few to 80.00.
