New Holland Sales Stables Dairy Sale

Compared to last Wednesday`s sale, fresh cows sold steady to weak, a light 
supply of bred and springing cows on offer, not enough to quote an accurate 
market trend. Bred and springing heifers sold steady to weak. A light supply of 
open heifers sold steady to weak. Wednesday's supply included 25 percent fresh 
milking cows, 4 percent short-bred cows, 4 percent springing cows, 11 percent 
short-bred heifers, 32 percent springing heifers, 14 percent open heifers, and 
10 percent bulls. One hundred percent of reported supply Holsteins unless 
otherwise noted. All sales sold on a per head basis.
