Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Wednesday, 07/08/09

Trading, for Wednesday, was inactive in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado.  
In the Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa/MN feeding regions trading was slow on light 
demand.  Not enough sales of negotiated cash steers and heifers to fully establish
a market trend.  Last week in the Texas Panhandle live sales sold at 83.50.  In 
Kansas, last week, live sales sold at 83.00 and dressed sales sold at 130.50.  In 
Nebraska and Colorado, for the prior week, dressed sales sold at 131.00.  Live 
sales in Nebraska sold from 82.00-83.50 and in Colorado live sales sold at 83.00.
Iowa/MN for the previous week saw live sales selling from 82.00-82.50 and dressed
sales selling from 130.00-132.00.
