Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 11/20/09

Friday trading of negotiated cash, beef type, steers and heifers in the Texas
Panhandle and Colorado was inactive.  In Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa/Minnesota
trading was very limited on very light demand.  Not enough negotiated cash sales
to establish an adequate market trend in any major feeding region.  Wednesday was
the latest reportable market in the 5 Area feeding region.  Live sales in the 
Texas Panhandle sold at 84.00.  In Kansas live sales sold at 83.00.  In Nebraska
dressed sales sold at 130.00 and live sales sold from 82.00-84.00.  In Colorado
live sales sold at 83.50.  In Iowa/Minnesota live sales sold at 81.00 and dressed
sales sold at 130.00.
