Yearling steers and heifers sold mostly steady with moderate demand for yearlings. Slaughter cows sold steady. Slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 lower. This week’s total supply included 6% slaughter cows, 1% slaughter bulls, 13% replacements and 80% feeder cattle. The feeder supply breakdown was 53% steers, 14% bulls and 33% heifers. Steers, bulls and heifers over 600 lbs totaled 53% of feeder cattle.
