Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for the week of 05/13/2013 Receipts This Week: 9300 Last Week: 10,210 Last Year: 8092 Monday's Actual: 8551 Compared to last week: Feeder steers over 800 lbs steady to 2.00 higher; under 800 lbs steady to 2.00 lower, in a light test. Feeder heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Demand moderate to good and improved some from last week, especially for heavier weight cattle. Steer and heifer calves 2.00 lower on limited offerings. Demand moderate for calves. Quality average, few attractive. Feeder cattle in medium to fleshy conditions with average to full weigh-ups. Cattle performing well on graze off wheat as supply once again includes several heavy weight cattle. Supply this week totaled 82 percent over 600 lbs and 32 percent heifers.
