Only a few yearlings offered this week. Demand good for weaned calves in thin to verage flesh, light for fleshy and unweaned calves. Hot weather playing a role in buyer's selection toward condition. Haying finally underway in trade area as weather is favorable. Heifers made up 41 percent of receipts and cattle over 600 lbs. made up 42 percent. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Bulls steady to 1.00 higher. Packer demand mostly moderate. 292 cows and bulls sold with 61 percent going to packers.
