Feeder heifers 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand extremely good for feeder cattle. Cattle futures closed higher again today. Slaughter cattle futures now above cash and hope for an improvement in the cash trade this week. Steer and heifer calves 2.00-4.00 higher in a light test. Demand good for light numbers of calves. ***Next week expecting 2000 head of reputation brand calves to sell during the regular sale.*** Supply included 87 percent over 600 lbs and 37 percent heifers. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Packer demand moderate. Total of 280 cows and bulls sold with 51 percent to packers.
