Confirmed: 20,180 Last week: 5250 Last Year: 10,600 Compared to last week: Feeder steers 2.00-6.00 higher. Feeder heifers 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand very good for feeder cattle. Cattle prices moved higher this week as a bearish corn report sent corn prices spiraling downward and pushing cattle futures and cash feeders sharply higher. Grass cattle on the move as temperatures reach upper 90's and low 100's. Supply includes 100 percent over 600 lbs; 23 percent heifers. Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 5-10 cent slide on calves and 3-6 cent slide on yearlings from base weights. Current sales up to 14 days for delivery.
