Demand very good for feeder cattle, as second grade cattle selling with very little discount to number one grade. Steer and heifer calves steady to 2.00 higher on a light test. Cattle futures sharply higher and grains closing lower. Slaughter rates continue strong and boxed beef prices improving. Supply included 84 percent over 600 lbs and 40 percent heifers.
