Oats, distillers dried grains, and alfalfa offers trended steady, while offers for soybean meal, meat and bone meal, whole cottonseed, and barley were higher. Corn offers were lower. There was no recent price comparison available for wheat millrun offers. Offers for canola meal were not available. Oilseed Meal Markets: Offers for 47 percent protein Soybean Meal, for current rail delivery, were 367.40 to 371.40 per ton, 4.70 to 6.70 per ton higher than last week's offers. Basis offers ranged from 52.00 to 56.00 over the Chicago December soybean meal close of 315.40, in a limited test compared to last Tuesday's basis range of 52.00 to 58.00 over the Chicago December soybean meal close of 308.70. Offers for soybean meal truck delivered to the Willamette Valley were not available. Offers for nearby rail and truck delivered Canola Meal, 34 to 36 percent protein, were not available. Whole Cottonseed: Whole Cottonseed offers for delivery to points in the Pacific Northwest from the Midsouth in single boxcars were 295.00 to 300.00, 10.00 higher. Offers for whole cottonseed trans-loaded onto trucks and delivered to Willamette Valley dairies were 312.00 to 315.00, 10.00 higher than last week's offers. Flour mill offers for wheat millrun rail delivered to Portland on the Burlington Northern Line from eastern Washington and eastern Oregon were 115.00 to 125.00 for November through March delivery, this is 5.00 higher than last Tuesday's offers.
