Carthage- Joplin Regional Stockyards Video
Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/16/2009

   Demand moderate for this week's Joplin Video Auction.  The video auction
was held in conjunction with Joplin's regular Monday feeder cattle sale and
prices were comparable to those on sight.  Cattle offered are in southwest
Missouri and will be hauled fifteen to sixteen miles and weighed on the truck
with a two percent pencil shrink.  A four cent slide will apply on the first
fifty pounds over base weight, a six cent slide on the next forty pounds, and
over ninety pounds contract voidable.  Supply is 63 percent steers, 37 percent
1`heifers, all over 600 lbs.
