Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Near continual rain since early Sunday morning has halted all field work and made handling livestock difficult. Potential sellers waiting for next week’s special Thanksgiving week sale to market cattle. Demand and supply light. Cows and bulls accounted for 40 percent of the run and feeders 60 percent. In the feeder supply, steers and bulls made up approximately 45 percent of the run; heifers 55 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 10 percent.
