Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/23/2013 Receipts: 605 Last Week: 886 Year Ago: 532 Compared to last week, feeders 400-700 lbs sold weak to 7.00 lower; thin fleshed calves under 450 lbs sold with a higher undertone. Supply moderate and demand good. Cows and bulls were 21 percent of receipts. In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 62 percent of the run; heifers 38 percent. Near 21 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.
