Slaughter cows steady. Several large strings of both calves and yearlings offered and a large crowd on hand for this special preholiday sale including plenty of star power manning the auction block. Assisting Tom Frey, who is the current Reserve Champion Auctioneer, was the reigning 2009 World Champion Auctioneer Ty Thompson from Billings, Montana. Demand moderate to good and supply moderate. Cows and bulls accounted for 2 percent of the run and feeders 98 percent. In the feeder supply, steers and bulls made up approximately 66 percent of the run; heifers 34 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 55 percent.
