Feeder Cattle and Slaughter Cow Auction for 11/17/09

   Compared to last week, the heifer offering and 500 lbs steers sold 1.00-2.00 
higher, the rest of the steer offering sold 1.00-4.00 lower.   Slaughter cows 
and bulls sold 2.00-3.00 lower; Demand uneven and supply light.   Cows made up 
approximately 16 percent the run, 84 percent feeders.   Steers made up 
approximately 44 percent of the offering, 46 percent heifers.   Offerings over 
600 lbs totaled around 32 percent.
