Cattle Auction Report for 05/14/2013

Receipts:  2094    Last Week:  1596    Year Ago:  2029

   Compared to last week, steers sold 4.00 to 7.00 lower; heifers sold 2.00
to 6.00 lower.  Supply was moderate with three load lots selling.  Demand
good.  Cows and and bulls were 18 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply,
steers and bulls were 64 percent of the run; heifers 36 percent.  Near
53 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded 2.00 to
3.00 lower.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 385 lbs 191.00; 440-500 lbs 157.50-
166.00, thin 182.50; 500-600 lbs 148.00-169.00; 600-700 lbs 142.25-150.50;
700-800 lbs 142.00-149.00; 840-850 lbs 129.00-132.75; 920-950 lbs 121.00-
121.25; lot 1015 lbs 117.75.  Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 167.00-176.00;
