Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 05/17/13

   Compared to last week, light supply of steers and heifers not well tested,
undertone lower.  Demand light on feeders and moderate on cows.  Supply light to
moderate on a cow special, near 47 pct cows, mostly pairs, bred and weigh cows,
43 pct heifers, 10 pct steers and bulls and 20 pct mostly heifers over 600 lbs.
Slaughter cows weak to 5.00 lower.

  Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1 two pkgs 400-465 lbs 159.25-170.00; pkg
565 lbs 143.50; two pkgs calves 600-650 lbs 135.25-136.25, two pkgs fleshy/
unweaned 600-700 lbs 128.25-128.50.  Medium and Large 1-2 745-790 lbs 129.00-
133.25; lot 922 lbs 118.25. 

  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 few pkgs 445-495 lbs 133.00-141.25; pkg
and lot 500-600 lbs 128.50-132.50.  Medium and Large 1-2 450-500 lbs 136.50-
138.75; few 590-690 lbs 125.00-132.00; lot 750 lbs 124.00; load 897 lbs
114.00 and load 970 lbs 108.35.
