Feeder Cattle Auction Close for 2/8/2010

   Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves under 450 lbs steady,
steers over 450 lbs 1.00 to 3.00 higher, heifers over 450 lbs steady to
2.00 higher.  Demand moderate to good, supply moderate to light.  Weather
continues to be a factor in transporting cattle from farms and ranches to
the Livestock Market because of the extremely muddy conditions.  The feeder
supply included 56 percent steers, 42 percent heifers, 02 percent bulls,
with 60 percent over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 112.00-126.00; 500-600
lbs 103.50-113.00; 600-700 lbs 97.50-105.00; 700-800 lbs 95.50-102.00; 800
-900 lbs 92.00-97.25.  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 107.00-116.00, pkg
fleshy 104.00; 500-600 lbs 101.00-107.00, thin 103.50-110.50, pkg fleshy
