Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 2/08/2012

Receipts:  277    Last Week:  1382    Year Ago:  187     
	
   Compared to last week, few steers and heifers under 600 lbs steady to 
2.00 higher, over 600 lbs not well tested. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. 
Supply light. Near 23 percent of the offering was cows and 26 percent of the
feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 57 percent steers and
bulls and 43 percent heifers. Most producers opted to wait till next week’s
feeder special with light snow and rain and temps around freezing overnight. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  350-400 lbs 195.00-196.00; 400-
500 lbs 186.00-207.00; 500-600 lbs 169.00-185.00; 600-650 lbs few 165.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  400-500 lbs 158.00-165.75; 500-
600 lbs 150.00-162.75; 650-800 lbs 130.00-135.00. 

   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2  450-500 lbs 174.00-186.00; 600-700 lbs
139.00-149.00.
